Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica announces the arrival of Status Wellness as a new championship sponsor, with the partnership set to make its debut at the Cascais Weekend Grand Finale on 31 October and 1 November at the Autódromo do Estoril.
In motorsport, every thousandth of a second counts. But a driver’s ability to achieve peak performance depends on more than speed, driving precision or the competitiveness of the car. Physical preparation, concentration and recovery between sessions are also important elements of a sport where demands are constant and every detail can make a difference.
It is precisely this connection between performance and recovery that has brought Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica and Status Wellness together. Specialising in wellness solutions, spas and saunas, the brand joins the championship with a distinctive approach, bringing the world of wellness closer to the technology, intensity and demands of competitive motorsport. “Status Wellness. Where Performance Meets Recovery” is the tagline that captures this philosophy and will be at the heart of the brand’s presence at the season finale.
A dedicated Pit Lane for wellbeing
Under the concept “Where Performance Meets Recovery”, the brand will bring an experience dedicated to wellbeing, physical preparation and recovery to the paddock, demonstrating that the pursuit of excellence in motorsport extends far beyond performance on the track. To bring this philosophy to life, Status Wellness is preparing an exclusive space in the Estoril paddock, named the “Status Wellness Pit Lane”. Covering approximately 35 square metres, it will be divided into two complementary areas.
The first, the “Warm Up Bay”, will feature HotSpring® hydrotherapy spas under the concept “Heat for Speed”. The proposed experience includes preparation sessions before heading out on track, with monitoring of indicators such as muscle temperature and heart rate. The second area, the “Recovery Space”, will feature an Auroom® Finnish sauna under the concept “Recovery for More Laps”, offering an experience focused on recovery and wellbeing. These two complementary approaches, brought together in a single space, aim to demonstrate how looking after the body, preparation and recovery can become part of the performance culture that defines motorsport.
Filipe Mendes, CEO of Status Wellness, believes the partnership represents an opportunity to bring together two worlds that share common values: “We are extremely excited to partner with Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica. We will bring the Status Wellness experience to the Estoril paddock, with spas and saunas that drivers, teams and visitors will be able to explore first-hand. We believe that true performance is also built through recovery, balance and attention to every detail. This is the philosophy we want to share with motorsport, both on and off the track.”
A partnership that adds value to the PSCI experience
The arrival of Status Wellness strengthens Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica's ability to establish partnerships with brands from different sectors, offering them a platform for communication, relationship-building and direct engagement with an audience particularly connected to technology, innovation and the pursuit of excellence.
This collaboration aims to add a new dimension to the paddock experience, giving drivers, teams and guests the opportunity to discover wellness solutions in an environment defined by the intensity of competition. For José Monroy, head of Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, the arrival of Status Wellness marks another step forward in enhancing the championship: “We are delighted to welcome Status Wellness to the PSCI family. This partnership adds a new dimension to the experience we offer drivers, teams and spectators, bringing wellbeing and recovery into the world of racing. We are very excited to launch this collaboration at our Grand Finale in Estoril.”
Choosing the Cascais Weekend Grand Finale for Status Wellness’s debut gives the partnership particular significance. On 31 October and 1 November, the Autódromo do Estoril will host the final round of the 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, during a weekend that will bring together the excitement of the season's final races, the celebration of championship titles and the introduction of new paddock experiences.
