Young GT Race Marbella talent to make his debut in the championship driving a Porsche 991.1 GT3 Cup.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica continues to strengthen the quality and international diversity of its 2026 grid with the confirmation of young talent William Deecke, who will make his debut in the championship driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup entered by GT Race Marbella. Born in Basel, Switzerland, and currently residing in Marbella, Deecke arrives at the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica at just 19 years of age with a competitive background that already places him among the most promising young drivers of the new generation of European motorsport.

From Radical champion to PSCI rookie

William Deecke’s racing journey began in karting at an early age, quickly progressing to more demanding categories. Between 2022 and 2023 he competed in the Andalusian Karting Championship, where he secured several podium finishes. In 2024 he stepped up to car racing, delivering a remarkable rookie season driving a Radical SR3 XXR in the FIA CAVA Championship, where he secured the title of Spanish Radical Champion, both overall and in the Junior category, following a campaign marked by consecutive victories and consistent podium finishes. The young driver boasts impressive statistics early in his career: 28 official races contested, 19 victories, three second places and two third places, demonstrating an exceptional success rate for a driver of his age.

Objective: reaching the Porsche Junior programme

In 2026, Deecke will dedicate his season exclusively to the Porsche ecosystem, with the objective of mastering the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and positioning himself to join the prestigious Porsche Official Junior Driver programme in 2027: “My 2026 season is entirely focused on mastering the Porsche 991.1 GT3 Cup and moving closer to my goal of becoming a Porsche Official Junior Driver in 2027. I am fully committed to the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica and invite all fans to follow our participation as we fight for the front positions in Category 1 and build a professional future with the Porsche brand.”

For José Monroy, Series Manager of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, the arrival of William Deecke represents another sign of the championship’s growing international projection: “William is a young talent with a very impressive career path for his age and represents exactly the type of driver we want to attract to the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica. He is a rookie with international ambition and with a very clear objective within the Porsche Motorsport ecosystem. We are certain he will be one of the drivers to watch closely during the 2026 season.”

With the arrival of William Deecke, the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica continues to establish itself as an increasingly attractive platform for international young talents seeking to build their careers within the global ecosystem of Porsche racing.
