The PSCI was present as a partner of GALA8 Privé, on a night conceived by the organisers in three acts and designed to bring together different worlds in the same space — founders, investors, artists, personalities and national and international guests — in an atmosphere shaped by lifestyle, entertainment and networking.
The first act began at 6:00 pm with the arrival of guests on the Red Carpet, a welcome reception and champagne, followed by a hospitality experience at the Estoril Country Club, featuring a selection of wines, cocktails specially created for the evening and a variety of gastronomic offerings served throughout the event. It was precisely on the Red Carpet that the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica featured one of its main elements of presence.
The new Porsche 992 Cup welcomed guests, bringing the image of the competition to one of the evening’s most prominent and visible areas. Inside, the Cascais Weekend Grand Finale continued to take centre stage through an illuminated display featuring the official poster for the round and the screening of its promotional video, showcasing the final event of the 2026 PSCI season to the guests. The second act centred on music. Directly from New York, vocalist, composer and percussionist Philip Hamilton took to the stage with his band for a live concert.
A Bessie Award winner and former member of the Pat Metheny Group, Hamilton’s career includes performances and recordings alongside names such as Gilberto Gil, Mike Stern and Spyro Gyra. When GALA8 PrivĂ© came to an end, the third act began. The night continued with the official afterparty at BaĂes Estoril, completing the “One Night, Three Acts” concept created for this first edition of GALA8 PrivĂ©.
From lifestyle to the big celebration at the Estoril Circuit
The PSCI’s presence at GALA8 Privé formed part of a particularly strong communication and promotional campaign surrounding the Cascais Weekend Grand Finale, which on 31 October and 1 November will bring the final and decisive round of the season to the Estoril Circuit, with the aim of turning the championship finale into a true end-of-season celebration.
The activation at the Estoril Country Club therefore joined a promotional campaign that will have a strong presence throughout Cascais, with 32 JCDecaux billboards, two large LED displays — at the end of the A5 motorway and at the Estoril roundabout — as well as a presence across several Cascais digital platforms.
A campaign designed to take the Grand Finale beyond the boundaries of the paddock and place the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica in front of much wider audiences during the weeks leading up to the decisive moment of the season.
Much more than racing
The association with GALA8 Privé also reinforced one of the dimensions the PSCI has been developing: creating points of contact between the Porsche Motorsport universe and premium environments linked to lifestyle, hospitality, culture, entertainment and networking.
Following other initiatives held throughout the season, the presence at the Estoril Country Club once again projected the PSCI beyond a strictly sporting context and, at the same time, created a direct bridge to what will take place just a few kilometres away in a matter of weeks.
For José Monroy, Series Manager of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, who represented the competition at GALA8 Privé, this presence reflects precisely the dimension that the PSCI intends to continue developing: “The Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica is about competition and a passion for Motorsport, but we also want it to be an experience capable of going beyond the boundaries of the racetrack. Being at GALA8 Privé as a partner allows us to bring the image of the PSCI and Porsche into a premium environment, connect with new audiences and, naturally, promote our Cascais Weekend Grand Finale. We are preparing a great end-of-season celebration in Estoril and we want Cascais and the entire region to feel that this is their event too. The strong promotional campaign we are developing and initiatives such as this are part of that ambition.”
For one night, a Porsche 992 Cup temporarily swaps the asphalt of the racetrack for the Red Carpet. Its next destination will once again be the track: the Estoril Circuit and the Cascais Weekend Grand Finale, where the final pages of the 2026 season will be written.
