The second round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica takes place this coming weekend (27/28 May), at the Motorland circuit, in the community of Aragon, and marks the debut of the competition organized by P21 Motorsport in Spain, a country that still will receive three more times (Navarra, Jerez and Valencia) until the end of the season. After the high competitive level seen in Portimão, at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, at the opening of the season, attention is once again focused, at an absolute level, on the duel between Pedro Salvador and Francisco Mora, but other points of interest are reserved, too. , for the runway located on the outskirts of Alcaniz.
The program of this NAPA Racing Weekend promoted by the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation includes, in addition to the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, Spanish Formula 4 and EuroCup 3 races, in a journey that also includes, both in the paddock and on the track, various promotional actions and marketing.
The novelty of the entry list of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica for Motorland is the participation of a national driver from off-road, and it should be noted, on the other hand, the absence of Jorge Areia, still without the car repaired after the ostentatious accident suffered in the first round, in the Algarve.
“The start of the season, in Portimão, was fantastic, both in terms of sport and society, making it clear that the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica has all the ingredients to be successful, providing exciting and unpredictable races for drivers on reference circuits. We are at the beginning of a new season, the prospects are great for the future and I believe that in Aragon, in this first round in Spain, the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica will leave an excellent image, not least because it remains in our plans to attract more drivers and teams locals”, says José Monroy, manager of P21 Motorsport.
The debut of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica in the neighboring country opens, on the other hand, a new chapter in terms of communication, since from this day in Aragon, inclusive, the two races of each day will be transmitted in live streaming on Youtube of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica (https://youtube.com/@porschesprintchallengeib-uu5or), which will allow it to expand its globalization.
