Francisco Mora achieved, in the early afternoon of this Saturday, the “pole position” for the first race of the sixth and final round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica (PSCI), at the Spanish circuit of Valencia, by beating Manuel Alves by a margin of 0.337s . José Barros was the fastest in the AM category and Miguel Caetano obtained the best “chrono” in the GD category. As in previous rounds, Mora and Alves were once again the protagonists in the duel for the best absolute record, with the Veloso Motorsport driver once again getting the better of his LOB Motorsport rival. Remember that Mora is leader of the PRO-AM category and only needs to finish the two races this weekend to confirm the “title”. Vasco Barros, also from LOB Motorsport, will start from the second row of the grid, with José Barros at his side, the fastest driver in the AM category, in which he is discussing first place in the PSCI with Ricardo Costa, current leader and holder of the second time, behind newcomer Pablo Silvero, author of the fifth absolute “chrono”.
The decline in AM’s primacy promises interesting moments…In the GD category, Miguel Caetano beat Aloísio Monteiro, category leader, by just over a second and Rui Miritta obtained the third best record in the category, being still the best positioned among the drivers of the 991.1.
