Francisco Mora will start from pole for the second race of the fourth round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, this Sunday afternoon, at Autódromo do Estoril, after being the fastest in qualifying, by a difference of 0.271s and 0.435s, respectively, facing Manuel Alves and Pedro Salvador, with Miguel Lobo, in good shape, closing the front row of the grid.
As on the previous day, the dispute for the best times was quite intense, with the same trio standing out, only this time Mora established the “chrono” of 1.34.427 and although both Salvador and Alves had responded adequately, they were not able to dethrone him and this time the latter even managed to jump to the front line.
José Barros stood out again in the AM category, leaving Leandro Martins, the second fastest, less than a second behind, while the British Ian Barrett was once again among the authors of the best “chronos”, surpassing André Fernandes and Gonçalo Fernandes. Finally, in the GD category, the returning João Posser left no credit behind, beating Aloísio Monteiro, while Frank Barrett secured the third fastest time, ahead of Manuel Chinchilla and Rui Miritta.
